This TV commercial for Sony Ericsson’s Walkman phone fuses live action with 2D animation. Headphones on and hoofing through the urban landscape, our central character travels effortlessly between the real world and an animated fantasy land, emphasizing that your music can take you wherever you want. Shot in London’s East End and interplayed with game graphic-style animation, this ad was tightly storyboarded to ensure seamless transitions.
